About this Brake Pads

Note: These brake pads are compatible with all BeeCool models! There are two pairs (four pieces) in one order. There are two types of brake pads here. One is made of the metal compound and the other is made of the ceramic compound. You can choose the one you want. The pads are only for dual-piston caliper and they can't be used on 4-piston caliper like the Zoom 4-piston brakes we are selling.

The ceramic-based brake pads also have better noise reduction and wear resistance properties), which could provide maximum initial bite for stronger braking performance, wear resistance, and less noise than resin bike brake pads.

【Safe and Stability】Specially designed for dryness and moisture, the bicycle brake pads can be resistant to high temperatures of up to 700 degrees. Even under any bad road or harsh weather conditions, still has a powerful stop feature, ensuring you are safe riding.

【Warming Tips】Please check the shape and size of your original brake pads before purchasing. When your brake has a sharp or unusual sound, please check the brake pads' condition and replace them if needed. Note: the thickness of the pad is 4mm.

【Quick Installation】Remove the used brake pads from the front and rear calipers. Inspect the pistons and perform an overall caliper condition check first. Before installing new disc brake pads, check the quality of the brake cable or hydraulic hose. Use a flat tool to push back the pistons in preparation for installing new brake pads.

This rotor fits all BeeCool Models. One piece of the rotor is included in one order, so you need to buy two pieces if you want to replace both rotors on your bike.

Why Do You Need A Floating Disc?

The emergence of floating discs is to solve the problem of continuous frictional temperature rise of the discs, due to thermal expansion and contraction, if it is a one-piece disc, the temperature of the center and the edge of the disc will be different, and the degree of expansion will be different, generates internal tension, causes the disc to deform, and brake failure. Generally speaking, the floating disc is connected by rivets with two materials. This connection is non-rigid and has a certain amount of freedom. On the one hand, it reduces heat transfer and on the other hand, it solves the internal problem. Stress problem, so it is relatively stable. Theoretically, thermal attenuation is related to the high-temperature resistance of the material. The floating disk will not reduce the thermal attenuation. However, if the material and design of the disk are optimized and the heat dissipation capacity is strengthened, the anti-attenuation ability will be improved!
