It launched the attack after spotting one of the group’s members entering the site, according to the military.
Additional air strikes targeted Hezbollah sites in the areas of Aitaroun, Meiss el-Jabal, Taybeh, Odaisseh and Yaroun, the military said.
Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) is reporting that five children are among the victims of an attack on a building in the area of Jamous Street, southern Beirut.
Earlier, Hassan Nasrallah, the head of the Lebanese resistance organization Hezbollah, has said that Israel has crossed all red lines by trying to kill thousands of people in a minute through pager blasts.
Nasrallah said that Israel has declared war and now Hezbollah will take revenge and will continue to support Gaza.
In his first address after the pager detonations in Lebanon, the Hezbollah chief said that the Israeli attacks were a huge failure of humanity and security, but that Tel Aviv cannot bring the movement to its knees.
He further said the pager detonations took place inside markets, homes and hospitals in which Israel deliberately targeted civilians. He added that Israel planned to kill as many people as possible through pager and walkie-talkie blasts.
Nasrallah said that Hezbollah will continue to support the Palestinians, whatever the consequences and whatever the cost.
He said that Israel has escaped from its northern region after October 8 and now it will not be allowed to return there again.
It should be noted that the Lebanese resistance organization Hezbollah has been at war with Israel after the attacks on Gaza on October 7.
