• Praise your child for good behaviour: Praise your child when doing something right. Also, give some reward for good behaviour. Appreciate him/her in the presence of others for his/her good behaviour.
• Be firm: Be firm in what you say. Give a clear message that no means no. Provide consistent boundaries.
• Correct misbehaviour: Correct your child with a soft tone soon after the bad behaviour occurs. Don’t criticise your child.
• Build and stick to the basic routines: Create a simple daily routine and try to stick to it.
