All-day rain leaves Islamabad with a stunning rainbow
All-day rain in Islamabad led to stunning views of a rainbow on Tuesday evening.
It was the first time in a long while that a rainbow had graced the capital, prompting many residents to venture out and capture pictures of the view.
Rainbow was also witnessed in the Azeem town area of Rawalpindi around 6:30pm.
The twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, along with several cities in Punjab experienced persistent rainfall throughout the day.
Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Tuesday forecast that the current spell of torrential rains will continue in southern and central parts of the country during the week.
The deep depression currently located North of Gujrat (India) was likely to reach adjoining areas of Pakistan (Eastern Sindh) during the next 24 hours, according to APP.
