Signs and Symptoms of a Concussion
A concussion is a type of traumatic brain injury (TBI) that occurs when the brain experiences a sudden and forceful impact or movement within the skull. Signs and symptoms of concussion may include headaches, confusion, dizziness, nausea, sensitivity to light or sound, and difficulty concentrating. Emotional changes like irritability or sadness, as well as sleep disturbances, are also common.
