Commercial Pilot license

PREREQUISITES

Applicant must be at least 18 years of age for issuance of Commercial Pilot License

Applicant must hold a Class 1 Medical

Should be able to read , write , understand and speak English

10+2 with Physics and Maths ( applicants without Physics and Maths in grade 12 th can also apply and can clear Physics and Maths through NIOS or any board -acceptable by DGCA )
COURSES DETAILS
Commercial Pilot license course has two parts to it - theory and practical training . In theory phase one has to study aviation subjects such as Air Navigation , Aviation Meteorology , Air Regulations , Technical and RTR . After studying these theory subjects one has to pass DGCA CPL exams of these subjects. The RTR exam is conducted by WPC . Those of you who are planning to do their flight training from abroad are exempted from the Technical exam in India and those who are planning to do flight training from any commonwealth country abroad are also exempted from Indian RTR exam .
CPL flying hours requirements slightly varies from country to country , below we have mentioned generic flying hours which students generally do to attain Commercial Pilot license / ME/IR
