What's more is that vitamin D is frequently stripped from the skin by soap before it can be absorbed.Yeah, vitamin D is a thorny issue, especially for someone who spends an inordinate amount of time trying to get all my nutrients from totally natural sources aka food. Vitamin D is and always will be an essential vitamin. Clearly, kids and adults do not spend enough time outdoors, therefore Vitamin D is unequivocally a vitamin.
