Syfy is resurrecting Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased). The network green-lit a reboot of the 1960s British cop show, to be executive-produced by Josh Bycel (Scrubs) and Jonathan Fener (American Dad). The original series, which ran for 26 episodes in 1969-1970, starred Kenneth Cope as Marty Hopkirk, a private detective who returned from the dead to help his partner, Jeff Randall (Mike Pratt), solve crimes. A short-lived 2000 remake starred British comedy duo Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer.
