When applying bait in the depths of winter and certainly into spring, I want to give the carp something that's visual and most certainly easily digestible for them which is why I looked no further than the Monster Tiger Nut Red-Amo . With it's washed out pink colour along with the nutty and fruity aroma it kicks out into the water column, I knew I had a winning formula from the start that the carp would seek out once established. Only 2 weeks into my pre baiting campaign the spots were being cleaned big time and it was really just a case of keeping the bait going in and finding a window of opportunity where the weather would be kind and also the Army allowing myself some well deserved down time. I finally got the nod for a 24 hour window of opportunity and having looked at the long range forecast it looked spot on. The only problem being that the lake hadn't done a fish in 2015 yet, but I knew deep down they were eating the Red-Amo and it was just a case of hoping the carp gods would b
