ATLANTA -- Georgia companies that sell overseas should benefit from the policy of the Federal Reserve Bank that is weakening the value of the dollar, but robust growth is unlikely due to other economic factors, according to a quarterly outlook released Wednesday by the Economic Forecasting Center at Georgia State University."Since Georgia relies on exports, the weaker dollar will boost exports, particularly toward emerging economies," said Rajeev Dhawan, director of the center.He recommends Georgia's new governor and other policy makers exploit that opportunity.
