Travel and Leisure recently asked its readers to assess the best from the worst in terms of mile-high meals. Airline food from all over the world was rated to help the magazine refine its list of the best and this year's winning domestic airline in the US was Virgin America . Richard Branson's airline is well know for its excellent customer service and travellers can even send each other drinks, meals and snacks via their 'send-to-seat delivery' package. Others making the top five included Hawaiian Airlines, Jet Blue, Alaska Airlines and Sun Country. Internationally Singapore Airlines beat out the competition to steal first place for food.
