About this blog

1. Accredited School

The main purpose of accreditation is to ensure the constant improvement of academic quality and public accountability. This process assists the school to maintain compliance with healthcare laws and regulations. Also, it helps in determining the acceptability of transfer credits. Students can use the accreditation credential to introduce their educational background to employers, thereby satisfying entry requirements or gaining an advantage over applicants from non-accredited programs. It is one of the most important factors to be considered before finalizing enrollment. AIHT is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award certificates.

2. Financial Aid

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is for current and prospective students in the United States to determine their eligibility for student financial aid. This financial assistance covers educational expenses including tuition and fees, room and board, books and supplies, and transportation. This aid helps students and their families to pay for college. There are various types of aids available which includes:

i) Grants and Scholarships – money you don’t have to pay back
ii) Work-study jobs: paid, part-time work that’s generally on campus
iii) Loans: money you need to pay back, usually after you graduate

The Financial Aid Department at AIHT Education strives to offer the highest quality of customer service to our current and future students. Our financial aid advisors are here to offer support and assistance to you and your family members on matters related to funding your education. We will help you plan for and meet all of the financial obligations associated with attending an institute of higher education.

3. Externship

The purpose of an externship is to give students a distinct experience and exposure to a job, company, or industry. As an extern, you get to shadow professionals for a short length of time to fully understand what the position entails. This experience provides hands-on training in the real world scenario and gives a better understanding of how it differs from classroom training. As experienced professionals in healthcare facility supervise externs, it provides them with a great opportunity to make connections with those working professionals. At AIHT, students will be offered an externship site at an off-site location after successfully passing all the required modules with the school. The externship provides the student with hands-on experience in a physician’s office, hospital, or clinic under the supervision and control of the AIHT, overseen by a designated site supervisor. Externships allow students to develop skills and contacts within the profession while they explore various career opportunities.

4. Certified Instructors

At AIHT, our instructors are nationally credited healthcare professionals that teach students hands-on skills they need in order to be successful in the field. Drawing on expertise gained in the healthcare sector, our instructors impart time-tested best practices and deep certified insight to every lecture. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the career outlook for health care jobs looks very positive and promising in coming years.
