About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in the broking industry to join our team across multiple locations. In this role, you will focus on acquiring new franchisees, providing support to existing franchisees, and ensuring successful partnerships to drive business growth. This position is ideal for a proactive professional with excellent relationship-building skills and a deep understanding of the broking industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Franchise Acquisition & Support: Acquire new franchisees and provide support to existing franchisees to achieve set Individual Revenue (IR) targets.
- Documentation & Compliance: Complete all necessary paperwork for acquired franchisees, including authorized person or sub-broker registration.
- Regular Franchisee Visits: Conduct visits to assigned franchisees at a set frequency to ensure activation in currency, commodity, and other cross-sell opportunities.
- Query Resolution: Address and resolve franchisee payouts and other operational queries promptly.
- Suspicious Activity Reporting: Report any suspicious activities observed or mentioned during franchisee visits to the AVP/internal audit team.
- Training & Development: Organize training sessions for franchisees and their teams to assist them in customer acquisition and business growth.
- Market Intelligence: Provide regular feedback on competitor activities and market developments.
- Investor Events: Assist franchisees in organizing investor meetings in their locations to enhance client engagement and acquisition.
Who Should Apply?
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the broking industry, with a solid understanding of franchisee management and client acquisition.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree (B.Com) or MBA is preferred, but graduates from any discipline with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and an ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of currency, commodity, and other financial products is essential for success in this role.
