Top 10 AI countries: AI’s agenda is written in headline-making terms, promising to change, in the near future, jobs, trade, the internet and logistics as we know them in global economy.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) estimates, pre-COVID 19, global employment was at 1.5 billion and nearly 40% is vulnerable to automation by AI, including technologies like Robotics and automation, and industries differ in vulnerability to AI.

This map shows the top 10 AI countries with the highest level of preparedness for AI as per the IMF’s dataset on AI Preparedness Index; the rest of the 164 countries are ranked out of 10 and shaded, accordingly.

It comprises eight institutions such as the International Labour Organization, World Bank for 174 countries on a global basis for the year 2023.

Given the increasing usage of AI, data show that Grand View Research points to the fact that the global AI market is expected to register a CAGR of 36.6% by 2030 from the year 2024.
