Employees who are set up on QuickBooks Workforce will receive an email each time payroll is processed informing them that they may check their W-2 and pay stubs online. Workforce is included in payroll services, if you have any. Your employees will still have access to the payroll service for 18 months after you discontinue it, though. Payrolls will no longer be accessible after then, so if you intend to use Workforce, make sure to tell your staff to print their paperwork for their own keeping.
