Intraday trading: Pakistani rupee gains 19 paisa against US dollar

The Pakistani rupee (PKR) recorded a slight improvement against the US dollar (USD) on Tuesday, rising by 0.07 per cent in early trading hours in the inter-bank market. By mid-morning, the currency was valued at Rs277.45, showing an increase of Re0.19 against the USD. Since the start of the current fiscal year, the rupee has appreciated by 69.89 paisa, equivalent to 0.25 per cent.
