darkman: I purchased this storage pod to store my dog show related items as well as people related items. Installation was easy on my existing roof rack although the threads on one of the u-bars gave us some trouble. The large amount of space inside was just what I was looking for. I did not receive any indication of what the weight limit on contents should be but I've packed it with a 10x10 EZ-up (approx. 46 lbs), 9x9 grass mat, a rolling carry-on piece of luggage, 2 floor fans, a full size folding chair, a large plastic tarp, and 2 other bags filled with towels and shade cloths. All this went cruising at 80 mph and I didn't even know the pod was up there - no wind noise. My gas mileage was affected by about 1 mpg. I installed the sport track backwards on my Kia Sedona because this model opens from the back. This allows me, being somewhat short, to open the sliding doors on either side and load items.
