In February of 2009, an write-up published in the Dallas Morning News instructed the story of a north Texas household that became unwitting victims of the illegal drug trade. The Rodgriquez family members bought a house in Grapevine that had earlier been in foreclosure and promptly moved in with their three young children. But it quickly became obvious that one thing was wrong. As the write-up states, quickly soon after they moved into their new home, the family's canine began enduring seizures and in the end had to be euthanized. Subsequent assessments of the property exposed that several rooms and the attic had been contaminated with traces of methamphetamine.
